When sleep is the prison in which I reside,
I'm controlled by my enemy and my enemy is I.
I could try to yell and I could try to scream,
But what is the use, I'm trapped in my dreams.
There's everywhere to run and anywhere to hide,
Only there is no escaping, my cell is sealed from inside.
I am alone in my sleep with my only thoughts.
I find my self here, broken and distraught.
I have no savior, no saving grace.
I am alone forever in this desolate place.
